Dawa ("the App", "we") helps you manage and track medications for your family members. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data, especially health-related data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: name and email at sign-up (email, Google, or Apple sign-in).
• Profile data: names of the family members you track, and optional photos.
• Health data: medication names, doses, schedules, dose history, and stock counts — used solely to power the App's features.
• Device & notification data: push token (FCM) to send reminders, plus basic technical info.
• Subscription data: your plan status (free/pro). All payments are handled by the App Store and Google Play; we never see your card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Run the App: store, display, and sync medications and schedules across your devices.
• Send dose reminders and notifications.
• Provide your adherence tracking and statistics.
• Enable monitoring shared with family members or caregivers you authorize.
• Manage and validate your subscription.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or your health data to anyone. We share the minimum necessary with trusted service providers acting on our behalf:

• Google Firebase: authentication and messaging.
• Apple / Google: subscription processing and validation.
• Cloudflare: image storage and service hosting.

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.

4. Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers, with a local copy on your device for offline use. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is 100% secure, but we strive for strong protection.

5. Retention & Deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete a profile or medication anytime in the App. On account-deletion request, we delete associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

6. Children & Family Profiles

An adult user may create profiles for family members (including children or elderly) to track their medications. The user is responsible for data entered about others and for obtaining consent where needed. The App is not intended for children to create their own accounts.

7. Your Rights

• Access, correct, or update your data.
• Delete your data or account.
• Withdraw notification consent anytime via device settings.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be processed or stored on servers outside your country of residence by the listed providers, while remaining protected under this policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
